Our client is an international Machinery company (aerial work platforms), with a new operation office in the area of Rotterdam.

Position Responsibilities


  • Overall office management: including reception, accommodation and HR and administration tasks.

  •  Fieldingpaper, electronic and telephone queries and acting as a point of liaison for all colleagues and external contacts such as clients, visitors, customers, partners, government institutions, and professional bodies.

  •  Filtering incoming post and other correspondence, sending parcels from the office.

  • Coordinating accommodation in company apartments for visitors from China – keep a report on the visitors’ arrival date, leaving date, department and project.

  • Booking travel for local employees and hotel accommodation for visitors.

  • Recruiting staff – this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates;

  • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records;

  • Coordinating office services including the lease of office, management of company dormitories, etc.

Position Requirements


  • Proficient in office management or operations, at least 3 years’ relevant experiences.

  • Fluent in English and Chinese, Dutch is a plus.

  • Hands-on approach.

  • With proactive communication awareness with good team spirit, and the ability to work carefully and conscientiously.

  • Driver license B, hold valid work permit.
